Accessibility statement

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across this website and the analysis tool. Accessibility is treated as part of the build rather than a retrofit.

What we have done

• Semantic HTML with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order
• A skip link to main content, and visible keyboard focus indicators throughout
• Text contrast meeting or exceeding 4.5:1 for body text against its background
• Every form control has a persistent label; errors are described in text, not by colour alone
• Diagrams carry text alternatives, and no finding is conveyed by colour alone
• Layout reflows to 320 pixels without horizontal scrolling, and text can be resized to 200%
• Animation is disabled automatically when your system requests reduced motion
• The site works without JavaScript except for the analysis tool and contact form submission

Known limitations

Generated code output in the analysis tool is presented in a scrollable preformatted region, which can be demanding to navigate with a screen reader on very large estates. A downloadable plain-text version is provided as an alternative.
